This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use XPrompt (the “Service”), and tells you about your privacy rights.

The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions.

• Application refers to XPrompt, including the Chrome Extension and the XPrompt Portal.
• Company (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”) refers to XPrompt.
• Account means a unique account created for you to access the Service.
• Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Usage Data refers to data collected automatically when using the Service (e.g., basic logs needed for security and reliability).
• Service Providers means any third party that processes data on our behalf (e.g., hosting and infrastructure providers).
• You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

When you use the Service, we may collect the following Personal Data:

• Email address
• Name
• Profile picture (if provided by your Google account)
• Google account identifier (Google “sub” / Google ID) for authentication

We do not store your Google password.

Prompt and response data

• Prompt content: the prompt text you submit in the Portal.
• AI responses: response content collected from supported AI assistant web pages (may include text/markdown; and when needed for re-processing or debugging, raw HTML).
• Visibility settings: whether you choose to make a prompt public.
• Ratings: if you rate prompts.

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information or secrets in prompts.

Usage Data

Usage Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type/version, pages of the Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and other diagnostic data generated by your access to the Portal/API.

How the Chrome Extension works

The extension automates interactions on supported AI assistant websites while you are logged in. It inputs your prompt, submits it, and reads the response content so you can view it in the Portal. The extension runs only when you initiate the feature on supported sites and does not proactively access content from websites you did not choose to use for generation.

Use of Your Personal Data

We may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service, including running multi-assistant generation and displaying results in the Portal.
• To manage your Account, including authentication (JWT stored via cookies and/or your browser storage) and access control.
• To save your history and results, such as storing prompts and collected responses under your account.
• To enable optional public sharing when you choose to make a prompt public.
• To manage your requests and provide support.
• For security and reliability (abuse prevention, debugging, and performance).

Sharing of Your Personal Data

We may share your information in the following situations:

• With AI assistant providers: your prompt is submitted to third-party AI assistant services using your existing browser session. Those providers process your prompt under their own terms and privacy policies.
• With Service Providers: to operate and maintain the Service (e.g., hosting and infrastructure).
• With other users: if you set a prompt to public, the prompt and its saved results may be visible to others.
• For legal requirements: if required to comply with applicable law or valid requests by public authorities.
• Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• With your consent: for any other purpose with your consent.

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention of Your Personal Data

We retain account data, prompts, and saved results while you keep your account, or until you delete them. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period and/or as required by legal or security obligations.

Delete Your Personal Data

You can delete specific prompts within the Service. For account deletion or additional deletion requests, contact us at the email below.

Security of Your Personal Data

The security of your Personal Data is important to us, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 13.

The Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.
